Yes, another post from the Miami timecapsule. Ceiling mirrors, gold brocade and a not so mini bar. Half naked in fin-de-siecle lace is the only way to go. And even though I don't look it, I think I set a new record in how fun a girl can have taking self-portraits.

The song of the day is one that has been played A LOT in our home. My father played it once a day for many months when it first came out- which is huge since he's a firm non-believer in the repeat button.

In Miami the drinks are bigger than than the plates, the nights are sweaty, and you have to know Russian to eavesdrop on most of the conversations held. The apartment on Sunny Isles Beach is a time capsule preserved from the 70's (Including the wines and champagne) that looks like it should be the home of some gangster with bellbottoms, big sunglasses and his terrycloth-wearing rollergirls. So instead of feeling misplaced I went matching with the clothes and music- long disco-gowns and playing Goats Head Soup on repeat, which of course turned out a little more Bianca Jagger than intended.

BIBA GIRL

I've been running around in vintage stores all over the world looking for Biba, and finally found this amazing secretary-dress in a vintage shop on New York's upper east side. It's the same model as the dress Eva Green wears running through the Louvre in The Dreamers, and one I've been searching for a looong time. I've come to terms with the fact that no photos will ever do it justice, and leave you with this single one. Sitting in my favorite chair, on my favorite porch in Fort Lauderdale.

One of my favorite things with the U.S is all of these radio stations playing 60's and 70's music perfect for the road. Here is one I heard driving down Collin's Ave that has since become a soundtrack for the month of March.

Say hello to the oldest and most loved piece of denim in the family. So loved by my father that mom patched them up every time they tore. WITH STARS! Allthough they are currently in need of another patching-up session, since they are showing more ass than a 50cent video, they have recently found a new lover in yours truly.
